The Rifters in gangster project!

We are super excited about the latest project for the band! - providing a song for the soundtrack of the upcoming comedy film "Bermondsey Tales : Fall of the Roman Empire"

Shooting now, the East End gangster flick stars Linda Robson, Dapper Laughs, John Hannah, Vicki Michelle and Ricky Grover, and Maisie Smith from Eastenders. Minder's Gary Webster is the dying boss of a crime family, who has to choose a successor.

DJ's friend and fellow Leeds United fan, Michael Head, is the writer-director and has based the script on tales from his own life as a fifth generation resident of the East End. Michael wanted a song for a particular fight scene and thought the band would be just the ones to provide it.

DJ has also been on set in London as an extra for the shoot, and because his hands were visible in the scene had to get his "nails done" - lol!!
